This patient's upper front
teeth have been wearing away. Small chipped teeth can result from
years of clenching or grinding of the teeth. The patient has a
cross bite (lower left canine overlaps upper lateral incisor),
which leads to a very unattractive smile. The patient also has
different shades, old porcelain metal crowns that are opaque and
shows a metallic dark line near the gum. The treatment was to
recontour the lower canine, bring it in more inside, and then
bond this tooth. This recontouring, allowed us to bring out the
upper lateral incisor. We then restored the upper arch with porcelain
veneers and porcelain crowns. You can see that all porcelain restorations
can give anyone a Hollywood Smile. |
